HOLIDAY ENTERTAINING MADE EASY
Make a delicious impression on your guests this holiday season! As the party experts, we’re here to help you entertain with ease and enjoy every minute of your party.

Transform the Ordinary

Plan your guest list ahead of time. Include an interesting cross-section of people who mix well with others. If children are attending, set a separate table for them with fun foods, such as M&M Four Cheese Bite Size Pizzas and Mozzarella Sticks.
Candles add instant charm – set them out in many places as possible.
Swap cushions, throws, scatter mats and hand towels for ones with Christmas colours and festive patterns.

For easy entertaining, serve M&M hors d’oeuvres and appetizers that require similar cooking times and pair with M&M dipping sauces.

When you’re finished using the oven, fill it with dirty serving dishes, containers and pans so they’re out of sight until you can tackle them in the morning.
Send out invitations 2 to 4 weeks before your party so you have enough time to plan accordingly. Don't forget to include a map.
Music sets the mood! Play a selection that appeals to everyone and ask guests to bring along their favourite CDs.
If you're a guest, bring a hostess gift. Fill a fancy tin with assorted sliced M&M Dessert Bars or TOO TALL® Cakes. Include a package of festive serviettes and a pretty server.
    Serve it with Style

Create different heights for serving dishes. Use cake plates with pedestals and place trays on inverted casserole dishes covered with colourful napkins.

Jazz up trays and platters with garnishes of fresh fruit of sprigs of fresh herbs.

Place cans of aerosol whipped cream in an ice-filled wine bucket to top desserts.

Short on serving dishes? Use a mirror, ceramic tile or even a cutting board as a platter.

Offer 5 to 8 different types of hors d'oeuvres for a cocktail party. Count on serving 8 to 10 appetizers and 2 to 3 desserts per person.

Eliminate distractions: hide the remote control, turn down the phone and keep pets in a separate room.

Inspire your Buffet

A buffet is a great way to comfortably host a larger number of people. It sets the tone for a friendly, casual evening and gives you more opportunities to visit with guests.
Roll flatware in large cloth napkins, tie with brightly coloured ribbons, and stack them in a large wicker basket.
Keep foods hot in crock pots, chafing dishes or warming trays.
Fill a cooler with ice or ice packs for extra refrigerator space.

Use disposable plates and cutlery and set out several trash cans for easy clean up.
